Each yurt is equipped with two sets of bunk beds and sleeps up to six people. Inside the yurt you will find a table and chairs, a broom and dust pan. Outside you will find a deck with a propane bbq, picnic table and fire pit. Each yurt has electric heating, lights and electricity. Visitors are asked to bring their own bedding, cookware, dishes, food and other personal items.

Recreational opportunities in the campground area

There are swing sets, playground equipment, walking trails, and bike path in the campground. There are children's programs, campfires, guided hikes and natural and cultural programs from May until the end of September. There is no beach but there is a 1.8 acre swimming pool on the day-use side of the park. To access the pool, driving is required as there is no pedestrian access across the creek.

Campers with valid camping permits can access the day-use area and facilities such as walking trails,  the Playbarn, the Nature Centre and Spruce Lane Farm. Campers receive a reduce rate on the daily pool fee. Please note that campers must drive 6 km west along the QEW to access the day-use area and facilities.
