Join us for our third annual craft fair


The Friends of Bronte Creek Provincial Park are hosting an event showcasing an array of original crafts by local artisans of woodwork, textiles, pottery ,metal art, jewelry, gift items, painting photography, all available for purchase.

Come find that unique Holiday gift you've been looking for!

 

Vendor Registration

If you wish to take part in our craft fair as a vendor please complete this form. The market is open to any local craftspeople who wish to exhibit and sell their creations. 

We will review your application and get back to you within a week or two.

 

Please note that we rent four types of spots:  Indoor with electrical hookup, Outdoor with electrical hookup, Outdoor with no electrical. We also offer a youth booth option for youth 14 and under. Crafts have to be made by the youth.  Vendors are responsible for supplying their own shelters, tables and chairs. Liability insurance is included in the space rental price. Any food vendors must have their kitchen facilities inspected and approved by the Halton Board of Health.

Friends of Bronte Creek Treasurer

The governing board is looking for a volunteer to take on the role of treasurer. Perhaps you're a finance student looking to improve your resume or a recently retired accountant looking for something rewarding and beneficial to do. Or perhaps you're just interested in helping out the Friends of Bronte Creek! We're looking for a volunteer to assume the role of Treasurer for the organization. A CPA, while beneficial is not mandatory!

As Treasurer, you will:

  • Provide financial oversight and advice to the Board.

  • Prepare budgets, financial reports, and annual statements, maintaining the organization's Quickbooks environment.

  • Ensure compliance with charitable reporting requirements.

  • Complete payroll calculations, deposits and related CRA reporting.

  • Manage the organization's banking platform with RBC.

What we’re looking for:

    • Experience in finance, accounting, or governance (CPA an asset, but not required).

    • Knowledge of nonprofit or charitable reporting is helpful.

 

Current hours are 8am - dusk
