These programs are available as part of a half-day and full-day program; which includes time in our Nature Centre or Heritage farmhouse, and optional time in the Playbarn.

Animal Adaptations

Nature Program

Walk through several habitats and discover the many creatures of Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Students will explore several animal species and their unique adaptations through activities and demonstrations.

Duration: 1 hour

Capacity: 1 class; up to 30 students

Location: Nature Centre - parking lot C

Our Town

Heritage Program

What was life like in a late 1890's community? In this program children will take a look at what shops, services and industries made up a historical community and compare it to a present day town. They will create their own Victorian town and engage in games related to historical professions before touring Spruce Lane Farmhouse.
