Bronte Creek Provincial Park has become a small island of nature in the middle of an expansive, urban landscape. Learn how habitat fragmentation impacts the species that call the park home and what strategies are used to improve conservation within the park.

What to expect: Students will identify the different habitat fragments in the park using various map reading techniques. They will learn about some of the specific species in the park impacted by fragmentation. The final activity of the program gives groups the opportunity to design and build prototypes to help reduce road mortality within the park.
This program is suited for indoor spaces where tables are available.
