This program is available as a half-day option, which includes time in our Nature Centre and optional time in the Playbarn. If you are looking for a full-day program option; please speak with a staff memeber about program pairings to extend your field trip.

Wetland Explorations

Nature Program

This program includes group activities and hands-on exploration of a pond using nets and buckets. Have fun learning about the factors that affect the stability of the wetland habitat and the biodiversity of a healthy wetland. Students will gain an appreciation of Ontario's wetlands in this exciting program. 

Duration: 1 hour

Capacity: 1 class; up to 30 students
